An Experienced and Distinguished Faculty
The Institute’s faculty are distinguished in their respective field. Of the full time faculty, mostly are MBA/MCA/M.Sc. (IT/CS)/B.E.(CS). All are excellent teachers who have mastered a variety of instructional techniques. Most have also had several years of industrial experience and served as consultants.
Learning Through Interaction with Industry
Most of the functional courses assign projects which bring the students in contact with Ujjain’s business community and give them first hand acquaintance with how industry functions, and enable them to relate what they are learning to actual practice. Guest lectures/seminars are conducted on emerging trends of IT.
The main aim behind these activities is: -

A Personalized Curriculum
The curriculum of all the programmes broadly follows the pattern proposed by Makhanlal Chaturvedi University, Bhopal. It consists of core courses and elective courses. The CORE courses consist of the courses that comprise the common body of knowledge of information technology and compulsory for all students. The ELECTIVE courses give the student the opportunity to follow the programme of courses that will meet his or her professional needs. The student selects, in consultation with his or her faculty advisor, any of the areas or combination of areas, which will most help the student’s career plan.

BIPS offers its students valuable opportunities to help them find the right job or to have a right job find them. Throughout the two years in this Institute they will hone their own marketability – studying companies and industries, learning how to analyze their finances, their products and their markets, receiving guidance in preparing their résumés, developing good interviewing and job search techniques, gaining practical experience to interact with prospective employers through course related and summer projects. The Training & Placement Officer provides expert guidance whenever it is needed.
Standby Power
To ensure adequate power, generator has been installed in the college as stand by. It enables the students to access computer lab, LCD, OHP facilities etc. without any hindrances.
Internet Accessibility
The college has internet connectivity to a well known ISP that provides 24 hours services. Students are encouraged to explore and learn through net in a disciplined manner.
Pedagogy
A variety of instrumental methods are followed to facilitate an integrated learning approach. The pedagogy includes lecture cum discussion, analysis and discussion of cases, seminars, self-learning, field visits, group projects, stimulation exercises and independent research. The actual mix varies with the nature of the course. Special emphasis is laid on imparting leadership and interpersonal skills to the students.
Educational Loan
